Manu Chao was born in France to Spanish parents who'd emigrated from Galicia. He is 5'2" and resembles an elf. After playing in a couple of French punk bands, Manu Chao took his own path and his music has evolved into a unique force that speaks for itself. The cultures that influence his music are global, and Clandestino reflects South American and Arabian roots. Manu Chao plays concerts throughout the world.
